Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 1 Winner – Shankara Pandian and Jaya Bharathi
The first season of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai premiered on 20 January 2019 on Star Vijay.
Television presenter Ma Ka Pa Anand hosted the inaugural season. The judging panel included Gopinath Chandran, Devadarshini and Vijayalakshmi Feroz.
The first season introduced viewers to the basic concept of the programme, in which married celebrity couples participated together in different activities designed to test their skills, coordination and compatibility.
Shankara Pandian and Jaya Bharathi emerged as the first winners of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai.

Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 2 premiered on 8 March 2020.
Ma Ka Pa Anand returned as host, while Aranthangi Nisha joined him as a co-host. Gopinath Chandran and Devadarshini served as the judges.
The season featured another group of married couples from the Tamil television industry competing through entertainment-based challenges.

The third season premiered on 24 April 2021 and became considerably longer than the first two editions.
Ma Ka Pa Anand and Archana Chandhoke handled the main presentation duties, while Aranthangi Nisha, Manimegalai and Bala also appeared in special hosting roles during the season.
Gopinath Chandran and Devadarshini returned as judges.
Sarath and Krithika emerged as the winners of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 3.
Yogesh and Myna Nandhini finished as the runners-up.
Other couples reaching the final stages included Jack and Roshini, Yuvraj and Gayathri, Vinoth and Aishwarya, and Rajmohan and Kavitha.
Season 3 ran for 58 episodes and concluded on 12 December 2021, making it one of the longest seasons of the programme.
Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 4 Winner – Mahalingam and Rajeshwari
Season 4 premiered on 2 July 2022 on Star Vijay.
Ma Ka Pa Anand and Aranthangi Nisha returned as hosts, while Gopinath Chandran and Devadarshini continued as the regular judges.
Several celebrity couples entered the competition and participated in tasks that tested their relationship, entertainment skills and coordination.
Mahalingam and Rajeshwari won Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 4.
Madhan and Reshma finished as the first runners-up.
Rehman and Farina Azad, along with Vasanth and Rekha, were also among the leading couples in the final stages of the competition.
The season concluded on 20 November 2022, when Mahalingam and Rajeshwari were officially declared the winning couple.
Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 5 Winner – Puviarasu and Mohanapriya
Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai returned with Season 5 after a gap of almost two years. The season premiered on 29 June 2024 on Star Vijay.
Ma Ka Pa Anand and Aranthangi Nisha again served as hosts.
There was an important change in the judging panel. Gopinath Chandran returned for another season, while veteran actress Radha joined as a judge in place of Devadarshini.
A total of 12 couples participated during the season.
Puviarasu and his wife Mohanapriya emerged as the winners of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Season 5.
Kottachi and Anjali finished as the first runners-up, while Sameer and Ajeeba secured the second runner-up position.
Other finalists included Parthasarathy and Thamarai Selvi, Naveen and Sowmya, and Sivakumar and Meera Krishna.
The grand finale aired on 17 November 2024. Puviarasu and Mohanapriya received the championship title along with cash and other prizes, while Kottachi and Anjali were recognised as the first runners-up.
Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai Hosts Over the Years
Ma Ka Pa Anand has been the presenter most closely associated with Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai. He has been part of the programme from its first season and has hosted all five completed editions.
Aranthangi Nisha joined as a host from Season 2 and continued through Season 5.
Season 3 also featured Archana Chandhoke in a main hosting role, while Manimegalai and Bala appeared as special hosts during that edition.

As of August 2026, five seasons of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai have been completed.
Season 5 remains the latest edition, having concluded on 17 November 2024 with Puviarasu and Mohanapriya as winners.
There has not yet been a confirmed regular Season 6 premiere or official Season 6 winner. Therefore, any future season should only be added to the winners list after Star Vijay officially announces and completes the competition.
